I love the jungle theme, and here is a cute way to work in the daily 5:
But here are a couple other adorable ideas:

(I hope I gave due credit on these)
I am thinking I will have to be able to switch it up halfway through the year because I just love all of these. I wish I could change the theme based on our units. ( Some of you experienced teachers are probably rolling your eyes right about now, thinking "yeah right wishful thinking," but I guess those are the crazy delusions of a first year teacher). I like to think I can pull this off, and I will surely try, but it will be interesting to see how it comes out... for now, all I can hope is a have a classroom to put this in next year!

Those are some very cute ideas! Hopefully your classroom won't be teeny tiny!

ReplyDeleteI am a returning teacher after hiatus for several years, so this year is my "first" year getting back to teaching after a long long time. I love those ideas of a reading corner. I am putting up a tree near one wall near my reading corner, that I just might add one of these ideas too. Love them. Keep dreaming, and I will keep following and encouraging.
ReplyDeleteI just finished my first semester of college so I have a couple of years to go before being a fist year teacher, but I can't wait! I'm glad I'm not the only one dreaming of my classroom :) By the time I become a first year, hopefully you will have lots of experience so I can follow.
